Palettes

Seven palettes I put together for small pixel art that has to match. Each one is free to download and is the default for one of the presets.

Kin 16

Warm, general purpose: gold, red, green and blue ramps plus neutrals. Default for badges and icons.

Kin 24

Kin 16 plus purple, skin and brown ramps. Default for emotes.

Kin 32

Kin 24 plus pink, teal and orange ramps and two more neutrals. Default for portraits.

Ember 16

Dark fantasy: bone, gold, ember, blood, moss and slate ramps. Good for game items.

Candy 8

Eight bright colours. Loud, simple, readable at 18 px.

Mono 4

Four greens, handheld style. Maximum consistency.

UI 24

Saturated UI ramps plus frame greys and browns for Roblox and game interfaces.

How to pick

Fewer colours means a more consistent set. 8 or fewer for badges that have to read at 18 px, 16 for icons and items, 24 for emotes with skin tones, 32 for portraits. In each palette the first colour is the outline colour; the presets draw the outline from it so a whole set shares one line weight and colour.
