Terms of service

Plain-language terms. They are short because the service is small. Last updated 6 October 2026.

1. Who you are dealing with

Pixelkin (the “Service”) at https://ai.kyrts.com is operated by [FULL NAME or COMPANY NAME], [STREET, POSTCODE, CITY], Estonia (“we”, “I”). Contact: hello@kyrts.com. Paid credit packs are sold by Polar Software Inc. (Polar Software Inc., 548 Market St, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA) as the seller and merchant of record; Polar's buyer terms apply to the payment itself, including VAT and invoices.

2. What the Service does

You describe an item in words; an image model (FLUX.1 [schnell] on Cloudflare Workers AI, finished by our own pixelizer (an optional parts-list engine uses a text model and our renderer)) produces a draft. Our own software then turns the draft into pixel art on a fixed grid and palette in your browser, and lets you re-render, re-palette and tier it without charge. You can also convert your own images to pixel art without any model. The Service produces single static images on plain or transparent backgrounds. It does not produce animation, text inside images, or scenes, and we say so on every page. Image-model drafts that cannot be processed are rejected automatically and the credit is returned.

3. Credits, keys, no accounts

One credit buys one draft image. Credits are sold in packs, do not expire, and are attached to a licence key that Polar emails to you. Anyone with the key can use its credits; keep it private. We do not operate accounts and store no password or email on our side.

Free previews are limited per visitor and per day and may be unavailable when the daily free pool is spent.

4. Price, payment, VAT

Prices are shown in euro and include VAT. Polar calculates and remits the VAT applicable to your country and issues the invoice. Payment methods are those offered by Polar at checkout.

5. Right of withdrawal and refunds

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or the UK you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Credits are digital content delivered immediately: at checkout you are asked to expressly request immediate delivery and to acknowledge that, once drafts are delivered, the withdrawal right no longer applies to them (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m)). Polar confirms this consent in your receipt.

On top of the statutory position we offer this: credits you have not used are refunded pro rata within 14 days of purchase on request, by email to hello@kyrts.com with your key. Refunds are processed through Polar to the original payment method.

6. Your rights in the images

We assign to you all rights, if any, that we hold in the images produced for you, and we claim no ownership in them. Because drafts come from an AI model, purely AI-generated images may not qualify for copyright protection in the EU and elsewhere; we cannot promise that you own a copyright or that no one else will generate something similar. You are responsible for your prompts: do not describe real people, trademarks, or characters you do not own. We keep a limited licence to store drafts for 30 days to operate the Service and to review content for abuse.

7. AI disclosure

Images produced from a text description are AI-generated (an image model drafts the picture; optionally a text model composes an editable parts list) and are marked as AI-generated in machine-readable form inside the PNG file, as required by Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the AI Act), Article 50. Your own images processed by the converter are not AI-generated and carry no mark. Do not remove the marking from AI-generated files or present them as hand-made.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to produce sexual content, content depicting minors in any sexual or suggestive way, hateful or extremist symbols, gore, depictions of real people, or content that infringes third-party rights or platform rules (for example Twitch, Discord or Roblox community standards). Prompts that trip our filter are refused; repeated abuse may lead to a key being frozen without refund of used credits.

9. Conformity and liability

As a consumer you have the rights under Directive (EU) 2019/770 regarding digital content that does not conform to the contract; nothing here limits them. We describe the Service's limits truthfully on each page; outputs are drafts from a statistical model, and a particular subject may not come out well. In that case we refund the credits for the affected drafts. Beyond mandatory law we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Availability and changes

The Service runs on third-party infrastructure (Cloudflare) and may be unavailable at times. We may change presets, prices and these terms; changes do not affect credits already bought. If we shut the Service down, unused credits are refunded.

11. Law and disputes

Estonian law applies, without depriving consumers of the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence. Consumers in Estonia may turn to the Consumer Disputes Committee (Tarbijavaidluste komisjon) at the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority; consumers elsewhere in the EU may use their national alternative dispute resolution bodies. Please email first; most problems take one message to fix.
