Pixel art emotes that look like one pack

One line per emote: a face, a gesture, an object. The emote preset draws them all on a 56 px grid with the same outline and palette, then exports the Twitch and Discord sizes in one zip.

Twitch takes static emotes as PNG at 28, 56 and 112 px (or one square up to 4096 px that it scales down), under 1 MB, transparent. Discord emoji are 128×128 under 256 KB. Faces carry an emote pack, so go for big eyes and one clear expression and skip the small details. The 56 px grid keeps expressions readable, and the 28 px chat size is a clean 2:1 reduction of it (you can also draw at 28 directly).

Writing emotes

Describe the expression, not the joke: laughing cat face with tears, sleepy owl face, raised fist. If you want a mascot across the pack, write the character the same way every time (“round orange cat”). The model will not give you the exact same cat twice, but with the shared palette and grid it gets close enough that chat reads them as a family.

The 128-px Discord file is a nearest-neighbour scale of the 56-px design (not an integer multiple), so a few pixel columns repeat unevenly. At emoji size nobody can tell.

Questions people ask

What size should a Twitch emote be?

28×28, 56×56 and 112×112 PNGs, transparent, under 1 MB each. Twitch also accepts a single square image from 112 to 4096 px and makes the smaller ones.

Can I use the same emotes on Discord?

Yes. The zip includes a 128×128 PNG for Discord. The 256 KB limit is never an issue with pixel art.

Can the emotes be animated?

No. This tool makes static emotes only.
